Language for Thinking

Language for thinking has been specifically created to teach and develop children’s language from the abstract to the concrete. The resource is based on fifty picture and verbal scenarios that can be used flexibly with a wide range of ages and abilities. This programme can be used with individual children, in small groups or can form the basis of a literacy lesson or speech language therapy session.

Children are identified by class teachers and the SENCO who need support to;

· Improve verbal reasoning skills

· Improve thinking skills

· Develop language skills

· Improve Spoken & Written language
